Do You Need Somebody?

Do you need somebody? Any one? A single person? Perhaps, a married one? I don’t want one. Some days I just want to be alone. There is a person who I see who isn’t at all like me. I don’t care for them to agree, but I long for intelligent conversation, without the mask of game-playing. I’m just saying. Isn’t it hard to get a straight answer at times? The really straight line. The truth of discovering who somebody is, because they sit in front of you and are their true projection. I don’t care to reflect on what is the agenda being presented in our conversation. The agenda that we are speaking of, and the one on the sidelines, and the one beneath it all, that none call out. My soul says, “Hey, look at this. He’s trying to hide this theme in-between what you’re talking about. He’s trying to draw your attention to something else, as if it is important, as if that’s his opinion, but there is a greater play in progress. He’s playing hookey from the truth of his real game at hand.”

Most everyone has no clue that they are playing out a pattern in their life from before. Way before. Before they were born into this life. They are carrying out a habitual set of circumstances, the consequences of their past actions, coming to roost right here. Right now. And how. It is affecting all of their relationships, all of their choices, all of their life. And they think they think with their own head. It’s influenced like a zombie, the walking dead.

If I told you the energy you had around you, it could astound you. But you likely wouldn’t stop to ponder long enough to stop it. Even though it’s just that easy. In a hard way. You, becoming consciously aware of what you are doing that is ‘running your life’, instead of ‘you’. But you wouldn’t recognize it, readily, because you are so unaware of if that you’d dismiss it. And carry on. And you’d be wrong.

It will all come around anyways. It just takes longer. You will go around the bends, again and again. Then you will find a way out; temporarily, and slowly, slowly, slowly, you will see there was a reason to correct your ways. It can take billions of days, and lifetimes of more and more, but it is up to you to implore it differently. It can be.

Stop. What has happened to you recently? Why is it in your life? The goodness or the strife? What does it liken itself to? Has it happened before to you? Similarly? Familiarly? Perhaps it is so vaguely drifting that you have no idea you have been snowed in. For so very long. There is a storm that has come and hemmed you in, a blizzard, a fog, and you’ve lost your way. You think where you are is very okay. But it’s not. Not even with a positive hype, that high-five slap on the blade of a knife, that sets your ego sailing. You are not one who is meant to be dazed. Hazed and dizzy, left for ‘missing’. You’re much too important to stay confused. There’s work to do. Inner work. You don’t need somebody to do it. You don’t need any one, except your own commitment. You can freeze-frame your life and see its composition. Put your seeing eyes on and pull yourself closer to the way you are. Step back. Way, way back and see yourself from afar. Who are you fooling when you clown around? Stop.

What is the energetic pattern you are fulfilling? You don’t know? Ask. Listen. Go. The new direction awaits for you. There’s nobody you need to accompany you on this journey. Everyone else has the same work.
