There is water flowing within me
It is the water of Life.

Life said, 
'If it is only water you seek then you shall drink.
'But after a while you will still be thirsty.'

I paid no regard
Happy days came, they stayed briefly
Sorrow filled their space, it seemed completely
It lasted long, till the sun was near gone
Then daylight broke as news arrived
Something different caught my eye
I went this way, I flew thataway
Like a bird wanting adventure, a happy lark
My water flowed
But still inside I was empty.

Spirit did not sing, though I thought I was happy
I lived in busyness, I wanted repent
The glad days came, the glad days went
The losses got greater, the world more sour
It wasn't just minutes, long days with hours
I wondered and wondered, what is the cure?
With so much sorrow, surely there's joy?
But every girl and every boy brought frustration 
upon attending my door.

Where O Where have my happy days gone?
So far, so long, I am alone.

Then coming forth from the midst of quiet
Life said,
'Here is true news.
'I've planted a seed, it's yours to use.
'Go hither, take sugar, the soul is sweet.
'Enter the kingdom and kneel at my feet.
'The joy you seek is not from earth's birth.
'The truth you yearn is your birthright worth.
'Your soul now calls, back to you.
'Come, take your joy!!! 
'Bid the water adieu.'

Milk, it flowed like my Mother's milk
The divine realization of my blessed self
The recipe brought home to me
Add sugar to water, and set one's self free.
